Our "Main Page" lists the Menu of all the departments on the Left and the heart of the page is reserved for "Special Announcements" such as Urgent Health Information, Updates on Programs and any "new" additions to the Site.

Our Menu Options:

"GPCA Home Page"  - direct link to the Great Pyrenees Club of America's home page with all the information on the Breed and the Club.

"Health Brochure" - the current overview of the GPCA Health Committee's Programs, Projects and Studies in one convenient Brochure.   You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to Open this file.

"Online Store/Donations" - direct link to the GPCA Health Store where you can purchase "exclusive" Great Pyrenees items and/or make monetary "donations" via Pay Pal or Mail Order.

"Health Committee" - this is basically the administrative heart of the GPCA Health Committee.   Here you will find the "Purpose", "Members/Contacts Listing", "Meeting Minutes" and "Disclaimer"

"General Health & Cancer" - this area will be a growing area as we try to provide information on General Health, Disorders and Cancer.

"Health Survey" - this will take you to our Health Survey page where you can find out all the information on the purpose of the survey as well as results.    You can download the Survey here too.

"GPCA Grants" - here you can learn about the Grants/Research that the GPCA "funds" as well as other Grants/Research that we do not fund but encourage participation.   All Breed participation (non-funded) are listed here to.   Updates are also contained here.

"GPCA Projects" - this area consists of "Projects" that have been initiated and Funded by the Great Pyrenees Club of America's Health Committee (HC).    The Dwarf Marker Project with UC Davis is one such project underway.  Updates are also contained here.

"GPCA Programs" - similar to Projects - Programs here are developed, maintained and funded by the GPCA HC.   They are "ongoing".   Here you will find programs such as "Affiliated Health Rep", "Health Recognition Awards" and Longevity Awards".   Updates are contained here.

"GPCA Participation" - there are many programs that the GPCA HC feels would be beneficial to our breed.   In this area, we list and encourage all members to participate.   Here you will find programs such as CHIC, CHIC DNA Repository and Addison's Disease program.   As new programs become available and are evaluated, we will list them in this section.

"Informative Articles" - from time to time information comes through the HC and we feel it is important to pass it along to our members and general public.   Some articles may be written by GPCA Members and others, such as Researchers.    These are for "informative purposes only".

"Important Health Links" - basically what it states.   AKC, OFA - etc.

"Reporting/Applications" - this is probably the most compact page we have.    Here in "table form" you can look for a Topic/Program and download an application/instructions or click on "reporting" for that particular subject.   All of our Programs, Projects, Grants, Health Survey are in this area.

"Seminar & Clinics" - basically what it states.
